About me
Tree falling on the West Coast of BC has been my occupation and passion for many years.
From a Certified West Coast Faller, through a Certified Falling Supervisor to a Certified Falling Trainer, I feel the circle is complete.
Knowing how dangerous this occupation can be, my vision is to provide training of the highest quality to the next generation of fallers.
Working One on One in the field for 30 days ensures the safety habits acquired during this time stay with you for your whole career.
All my graduates achieved high mark on their final evaluation and are working as independent contractors on the West Coast of BC.

I want to thank Juraj for his knowledge and good company throughout the course. This was an achievement that I’ve wanted for quite a long time, and I’m glad that I chose JS New faller Training as the foundation for this new career that I’m entering. I would recommend JS to anyone who is keen on starting their path to becoming a certified faller, it was a great time. Thanks again Juraj.
Sean Anderson (Course complete June 2025)
Juraj training went above and beyond to prepare me for a career working as a faller, and has a lot of good advice around how to manage life outside of work as well. His reputation and connections made it possible to find training grounds to get the needed practice in. 100% one - on - one training is the way to go.

John Bruce (Course complete Oct 2023)
I recently went through the 30 day training with Juraj. He went above and beyond what would be expected for a course of this nature. Working with my schedule he was both open and very receptive to setting a time frame that worked for me. It was easy to see from the start that Juraj’s patients and knowledge make him the perfect QFT. His instruction was clear and concise. Always smiling and in a positive mood it was very easy to learn in this type of atmosphere.I completed my 30 day evaluation on a Friday and was hired the following Monday. I strongly believe this is due to Juraj highly respected reputation on the west coast as both a safe and productive west coast faller. Seems like everyone I spoke to had worked or known Juraj at some point and had nothing but good things to say.I highly recommend anyone looking to start the process of becoming a Faller to contact Juraj.
Henry Doerksen (Course completed: February 2023)
Before I started my 30 day training, Juraj was highly recommended to me by a few people that I know so I took the course through him. During those 30 days I realized the importance of having someone teach you who wanted to help you succeed throughout your whole career and set you up to think smarter about the tasks at hand and not to fight against the elements of the job. Juraj is really easy to get along with and has a great sense of humor. I would highly recommend Juraj to anyone who is considering taking this course. Thanks!
Daniele Leonardelli (Course completed: November 2021)
Training with Juraj was a great experience. He is very good at teaching and explaining all the steps needed for every procedure. He has lots of experience falling trees on the West Coast and knows how to handle every situation he encounters. He is excellent in analyzing it for training purposes. He is the best one out there.
Drew Nagainis (Course completed: May 2021)
Juraj is a great instructor and a very knowledgeable faller with extensive experience in the industry. He is very personable and enjoyable to be around. He is dedicated to helping you reach your full potential as a West Coast Faller.
Gaige Armitage (Course completed: October 2020)
I did my 30 day faller training with Juraj during the month of October in 2020, the one on one training was great for a hands-on practical style of learning, he’s safe, patient, well-versed in the world of falling has good clear instructions and knows his way around a saw. 10/10 would recommend to anyone that’s interested in become a faller to do your 30 day faller training with him, it’s been over a year and we still talk quite often and have become good friends over this time.
